Aurukun is situated in the Western Region of Cape York, established as a Presbyterian mission in 1904, Aurukun is one of the largest communities in the Cape with approximately 1200 people.


Jirrawun Arts Corporation


The Jirrawun Aboriginal Art Corporation is based at Crocodile Hole Community in the spectacular gorge country, for which the East Kimberley is renowned. Crocodile Hole is located 65 km North of the Warmun Community, known as Turkey Creek, and approximately 200 km South of Kununurra. The self determined Jirrawun Aboriginal Arts Corporation is made up of some of Australia


Rumbalara Football & Netball Club


Rumbalara is the sporting and social hub for the 5000 - 6000 indigenous people living in the Goulburn Murray region. Established in 1972 and accepted into the Goulburn Valley Football League in 1997, the Club has not only enjoyed on-field success and regular premierships, also has made a significant impact in the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities of the Goulburn Valley through innovative social development programs and practices.


Academy of Sport, Health & Education (ASHE)


The Academy of Sport, Health and Education (ASHE) in Shepparton is a partnership between the University of Melbourne and the Rumbalara Football Netball Club (RFNC), with strong support from Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE. ASHE is a novel and carefully conceived approach to the social and economic integration of Indigenous people. ASHE addresses education, health and employment inequities for Indigenous people by providing personal support and counselling, relevant courses, and explicit links to genuine employment and further education outcomes.
